The problem

Most homeowners are on their own until something breaks.

"Is this a serious problem?"
A crack, a stain, a sound — without context, it's impossible to know what's urgent and what can wait.
"What needs attention first?"
Small issues compete for attention with no one helping you prioritize the ones that matter most.
"Who should I call?"
Most home-service companies specialize in one trade — not the whole picture of your home.
"Am I getting good advice — or being sold something?"
It's hard to trust a recommendation from the same person who profits from doing the work.
A trusted advocate

We created Whole Home Advocate to give homeowners a trusted place to start.

Brothers Brandon and Heath Gage live in Argyle, Texas, and have worked together as general contractors for the past four years — managing residential and light-commercial projects from small repairs to work valued over $500,000. Along the way, they kept seeing the same thing: expensive problems that could have been prevented, or caught much earlier, with regular observation and knowledgeable guidance.

Most home-service companies concentrate on one trade or one particular solution. We look at the home as a whole. Brandon and Heath personally conduct every Whole Home Assessment together, document what they observe, help prioritize areas of concern, explain the available options, and help homeowners determine what to do next.

When specialized expertise is required, we help identify the appropriate licensed professional. Depending on the service selected, we can also help evaluate proposals, coordinate appointments, document work, and follow up on the homeowner's behalf.

Our goal is simple: you'll never have to wonder who to call — or what to do with your home — again.

Questions homeowners ask

Before you get started.

What exactly happens during a Whole Home Assessment?
Heath and Brandon walk the entire property together against a defined 120-point checklist covering the roof, foundation, systems, and safety items — then document findings, prioritize what matters, and walk you through your options.
How much does it cost?
The one-time Whole Home Assessment is $695. Ongoing plans start at $149/month (Home Guidance) or $249/month (Home Advocate), each of which start with the initial assessment plus recurring visits and added support. Annual plans receive two months for free.
Are you a home inspection company or a general contractor?
Neither. We don't replace licensed specialists when they're required — we help identify, coordinate, provide access, document, and follow up, so you always know what's happening with your home and why.
What areas do you serve?
Argyle, Aubrey, Bartonville, Denton, Flower Mound, Grapevine, Haslet, Justin, Keller, Lantana, Northlake, Pilot Point, Ponder, Roanoke, Sanger, Southlake, Trophy Club, and Westlake.

Never wonder who to call again.
